KEYNSHAM & SALTFORD 1945 – 2020
This attractively produced volume tells the story of the area over 75 years – a period that has seen many changes. In the first part, we have put together accounts and pictures of key events from VE Day through to the closure and rebuilding of Somerdale.
The second part describes local personalities, the history of our sports clubs and themes of general interest such as the changes in our shops and schools.
The many illustrations make this a valuable record of local life and bring back memories for all those who have lived in Keynsham or Saltford.
