Summer 2026 Member Events

We are pleased to announce our new programme of Summer Events for 2026 are published below. Society members can apply to attend these events by completing the below "Event Application Form"
Summer Public Walks - 2026
No booking required
There is no requirement to book and these events are open to non-members. Just turn up.
Sunday 12th July Leaving at 2.30pm from outside St John’s Parish Church. Around central Keynsham, looking at the history of the various railway and road bridges in the town. Total distance 1½ - 2 miles and upto 1½ hours. There is no charge and no advance booking required.
Sunday 23rd August Leaving at 2.30pm from outside St John’s Parish Church. Around central Keynsham, looking at the sites of the former Brass Mills in the town. The distance will be about 2 miles and should not take more than 1½ hours. There is no charge and no advance booking required.

Winter Presentations

We offer a series of winter presentations. These events are held at St Dunstan's Church Hall, Keynsham and are open to members and non-members (there is a small charge to non-members). There is no requirement to complete the "Event Application Form" for our Winter Presentations, simply turn up 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
