What type of information do you collect?

As a non-profit making organisation, staffed entirely by volunteers, we do not proactively collect your personal information, unless of course you have contacted us via the website, or you have signed up to join the K&S LHS. Membership data will be held for the purposes only of managing membership and subscriptions. Contact information will remain within the website but only held for the purposes of contact, which would have been requested by the person completing the 'Contact Us' form. We do not use or collect or store information from site visitors, such as email, name, IP addresses, billing details, social security number, etc. It is however possible, because Wix.com provides analytical data relating to the website that they collect IP and other details connected to this website. With the exception of Membership subscriptions and 'Contact Us' information, K&S LHS does not collect data from site visitors. We do however, use the analytical data that is provided by Wix.com that provides anonymised information only on site visits, what pages have been visited and general performance data of the website.

Why do you collect such personal information?

K&S LHS only collects personal data that relates to Membership subscriptions and 'Contact Us'. This information is provided by the relevant member or contact person and provided with their consent. We do not collect email address or other personal data for any other purposes, such as marketing.

How do you store, use, share and disclose your site visitors' personal information?

How do you communicate with your site visitors?

We communicate with only those site visitors who have completed their membership registration or accessed us via 'Contact Us'. Any sales of books or publications are managed outside of this website. Those who are seeking to purchase a book are directed to 'Contact Us' and the sale is managed manually, off-site by our volunteers.

Any communication with our members is generally managed via email. Email contact details are provided by members and as such provide their consent to receive updates from K&S LHS via email.

How do you use cookies and other tracking tools?

K&S LHS are not proactively collecting or using cookies or other means of tracking website activity. It is however possible that Wix.com do use cookies and other means of tracking website activity and as such, we refer all users of this site to the Wix.com privacy policy.
